Just posted our Top 10 Crowdsourcing Lessons over at Brilliant Arc. Provided some observations on how we’re applying ontology for tagging tens of thousands of photos of homes per week. Hope it makes for some interesting perspective. The focus is mostly on leveraging the benefits of having an ontology for collecting structured data and doing so economically at-scale. But after all the technology is said and done, it turns out doing right by the community is the most important thing you can do - surprise. Think the trick has been to develop a back-end platform that really enhances the engagement experience. Love anyone’s thoughts on the piece.
